Fit for a Day


School's out, leaving me with a bunch of free time. (Hooray!) This also means a return to a resolve I made last summer to try to be a little bit healthier. I'm not going for anything dramatic, I'm not target-toning any muscles or any of that stuff. I'm just doing little things to be a bit better, and really to keep my heart happier. (Poor thing!) And the easiest way I can do that is by walking.

To that end, I used a pedometer today while walking. It's the kind that can measure steps and distance. I forgot to put it on in the morning, so I lost some steps/distance then walking around campus. But I took a good long walk in the afternoon, and a shorter one at night, and came up with 10,051 steps, which translates to 4.75 miles. (Figure in the morning, and I probably walked 5 miles on Tuesday)

Even if I can't do this on a normal basis, at least I can do it. And have!
