Maybe He's Thinking About Dinner?

How does one celebrate the Cinco de Julio? By going to the Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park! It's a beautiful place with some really cool statues, and some not-so-cool statues. It's all part of the art experience that lies within! (Factoid: The gardens are starting to emerge as a "player" in their genre on the national scene.)

A view of the greenhouses.

Aw! I love this bear at the children's park...

You go, little guy!

I'm a nerd. I see this and I think Rambaldi...

It looks like some remnants of a ancient civilization.
A creepy, expression-less civilization.

The lost Da Vinci Horse [replica], a statue that is starting
to become a Grand Rapids icon.

The Grand Rapids Arch.

A De Suervo original.

Ha! It looks like the sculpture is creating that cloud. Kind of. Not really.

"Listening to History"

A delicate balancing act. You know, for a statue.

Ooh! Impressive... thing!

A beautifully landscaped waterfall area.

Look! It's the world-famous Rodan's The Thinker, the one and only!

We can only wonder what he's thinking about.

He's still lost, deep in thought.

Okay then.

It's a... transformer? I don't know who made it, but... it's cool.

It's a few people!
