- The first edition of The Collegiate comes out this upcoming week… If my story is in it, I'll let you know.
- Pushing Daisies, the second most-buzzed about new TV program (apart from Kid Nation) premieres this week. I'll be watching and letting you know if *I* like it or not. Will it be the next Ugly Betty or will it go down spectacularly, a la Studio 60?
I'm typing this blog post in Microsoft Word. I never have to go to Blogger.com again to upload a post!- Speaking of Word, it's really different from Microsoft Works. But, really cool. But, really different and that angers the stuck-up Dutchman inside of me. And the angry, bitter German, too. And the snobbish Frenchman. And it worries the sensible British side, too. (Is there any ethnic group that is stereotypically happy? Any?)
- Hey, the Olympics are next year already!
- The State of Michigan's government will be 'shutting down' until a compromised can be reached on a new budget. This leaves us with very minimal, barebones government on the state level. But, for at least a week, city governments can operate just fine. I wonder if, since Grand Rapids Community College is connected to a city, if that might shut down if no compromise can be reached in a few week's? Probably not, since they probably have all their money for the semester. Sadness! L
- That's all I really have to say… I just enjoy blogging from Word. Although, I can't tag post in here, so, I'll have to rethink my strategy as far as that's concerned.
