The "Studio 60" Award Goes To...

...Bionic Woman. This NBC show was a standout during pilot season, for reasons completely unknown to me. I wanted to do a recap/summary of the pilot for this blog, but put the notebook and pen down after the first five minutes because OH MY WORD IT WAS BORING, not to mention stupid. I suffered through the whole episode, thinking that maybe it could get better. It didn't. And trust me, I wanted it to get better because it was so boring and stupid and uneven and lackluster that I wanted to scream. Many people apparently agreed, because the show has been constantly losing viewers every single week.

(The "Studio 60" Award is handed out whenever there is a much-hyped new television show that either critics or the public like right away, but then get annoyed with the show and start tuning out every week. This is in honor of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, a one-season NBC show with a much-hyped staff and cast, which lost viewers every week.)
