Missing since 1944

Every now and then, I like to do a web search using my name. Usually I get some very interesting results. I've found out that there is a Charles Jurries farm, a judge also going by my name, one who had a kid Myrtle, one drafted into WWI, and now, I found out that one of a Charles Jurries kids went missing during 1944. Here's the news item:

The Burlington, Iowa, Hawk-Eye Gazette, Friday, July 28, 1944, Page 5

Emmetsburg - (AP) Pfc. Floyd Jurries, 26, infantry, has been missing in action in France since June 19, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jurries, and his wife have been informed.

Very interesting, eh? I did a quick web search for a Floyd Jurries, but found nothing. (And now I'll find this post in those results as well, which won't prove very helpful.)
