July 4, 2005 Fireworks

It's time for another Photo Shoot! This spread finishes my July 4, 2005 series. The annual fireworks display in Grandville, Michigan was a damp one; rain showers started up late evening, sending many people scattering away from the viewing areas. But the family, always seeking information, ran and drove out right into the scene of action to determine if the show was still on for the night. And dispite the rain, the fireworks show was still on for the night! So I ran out with my camera and tripod, using a coat to help shield the camera from the rain. As if fireworks weren't difficult enough to photograph, I had to deal with rain as well? Yowza!
