We've heard unsubstantiated reports from backchannel sources that friend a Eva Lemmon will be celebrating a birthday today. (We're still checking our sources to verify this.) If true, we wish her the best as she celebrates the few remaining weeks she has in the Grand Rapids, MI area, before she abandons family and friends in pursuit of a greater academic education.Eve has been a friend and a colleague for many years, gracefully putting up with me every time I take out my camera and take her picture. Heh. Anyway, if it is your birthday (and it could very well not be), I hope it's a good one. And for goodness sake, update your blog already!
