The above image is a screen grab from a commercial for an upcoming episode of Lost. While snooping around in decades-old bunkers, the castaways come across a surveillance room. And apparently, a man with an eyepatch decides it's the perfect time for his beauty shot in front of the camera. Convenient!As anybody who's ever done so much as read an article on Lost knows that the show is very big into books and literature. Books shown or alluded to in the show play on the island's mythology, often times providing key clues or hints as to the direction of the show. There are even Lost book clubs, where they discuss the books read on the show. (So it's no coincidence that the show itself briefly showed a book club discussing what was worth reading and discussing!)
Anyways, all I wanted to say is that I'm nicknaming the eyepatch dude Herr Drosselmeyer, from The Nutcracker, until we learn his true identity. Which in true Lost fashion, we'll probably barely learn in the season finale cliffhanger.
